Target Audience
General Employees
Purpose
To provide information and experiences for employees in relation to current EEO legislation regarding discrimination, harassment and bullying in the workplace to enable them to act appropriately in their workplace and know what to do if someone is not acting appropriately.
Participants will be able to:
- Explain what discrimination, harassment and bullying is and know what are acceptable and non acceptable behaviors across a broad range of workplace contexts.
- Understand their legal responsibility if they breach the Equal Opportunity Act.
- Understand and have knowledge of current organisational policy relating to discrimination, harassment and bullying.
- Know the organizations grievance procedure and know who to seek advice, knowledge and support from.
- Be able to identify and assess risk behaviors and in what contexts they are likely to occur
Seminar
This seminar is conducted in-house over 2-3 hours depending on your organizations requirements. We tailor the seminar to your organisation’s policies and code of conduct. Maximum number of participants 20.
A ‘power hour’ lunch time presentation is available, particularly suitable as a staff refresher, or leading up to Christmas festivities.
